350 gm coarse semolina
165 gm butter
420 gm sugar
3 1/2 cups milk or water
1 tblsp pine nuts

Melt the butter in a saucepan until fairly hot
add the pine nuts and semolina and cook over a moderate heat, stirring constantly, for 40 minutes until the pine nuts are golden brown.
add 3 1/2 cups of boiling water or milk mix well,
add 1 1/4 cups of sugar and mix again.
Then put a loosely-fitting lid on the saucepan, turn down the heat to very low and cook for 20 minutes.
Set aside to cool for 30 minutes, before eating.
